About iFiX Appliance Repair and Home Service

The beginning of Jon’s appliance repair started young. Ever since Jon Baker was a kid, he’s had a natural curiosity for taking things apart and putting them back together. He’s always been fascinated by how things operate and discovering their functionality. When he was 14 years old, his family’s neighbor offered to give him their old car, but since his mother would not allow him to take it for free, an agreement was made for him to make a modest payment of $50 dollars, and five big plates of brownies.

From there on out, Jon really began to learn a lot about mechanics from his older brother, who ended up teaching him everything he needed to know at that time about vehicles, and how they worked. It was during this period that Jon had realized he had a natural talent for repairs, and a true passion for mechanical procedures.

After graduating from Weber High School in Pleasant View, Utah in the year 2002, Jon served an LDS mission for two years on the island of Puerto Rico. Once he returned, he began doing repair service work with his brother-in-law for a small appliance repair company in Weber County, Utah, where he grew up.

After working for over eight years in the repair service industry, Jon became inspired to begin his very own appliance repair company that placed a heavy emphasis on outstanding customer service, and knowledgeable technician work. Throughout his experience in the field, he had come to learn the importance of valuable, comprehensive repair work.

For the past 2 years, Jon has been working primarily as a residential appliance repair technician helping families throughout Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and parts of Morgan County. He has helped people to find, diagnose, and fix any problems that their home appliances may be experiencing. One of the things that make him stand out from the rest, is his own personal requirement of making sure he has quality tools on hand to complete every job. His ultimate goal is, and always has been, to provide each of his customers with the very best quality tuning possible.

With 1-year parts and labor guarantee, you’ll never have to worry about paying for the same service more than once within that time frame. You can be sure that Jon and his staff of highly trained technicians will be there within 24 hours or less, to help you quickly diagnose and fix whatever problem you may be facing with your home appliances.

Throughout his time working in the repair industry, Jon has acquired several different certifications and authorizations of various projects, including RMGA (Questar Certification), EPA608 (Environmental Protection Agency), and various other factory training.
